Dalai Lama’s Close Advisors Among Potential Pegasus Targets: Report
The closest circle of advisors across the Tibetan non secular chief, the Dalai Lama, and employees members of different Buddhist clerics have been recognized as potential targets of Israeli spyware and adware Pegasus, reported The Wire, citing a leaked database of cellphone numbers reveals.
The leaked database, reportedly, has indicated that cellphone numbers of a number of Tibetan officers, activists and clerics have been marked from late 2017 to early 2019.
As per The Wire, a technical examination of a cellphone’s knowledge is crucial to ascertain if these numbers have been surveilled.
However, the presence of those numbers indicated that they have been distinguished as potential candidates for surveillance.
