According to WHDH-TV, the shooter stole a box truck with the plumbing company logo on the side before colliding with a brick building in a quiet residential area.

The gunner immediately left the truck cab and began firing at bystanders, beating female pedestrians and male victims.

The picture of the scene also shows another vehicle colliding nearby and the SUV smashing and lying in front of the house.

It was not immediately clear whether the victims were killed by shooting or by a truck crash.

One police officer was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, but was not seriously injured.

Police said there was no further danger to the community, but drivers and members of the public area urged the area to be avoided to allow paramedics and investigators to work.
